About Me
Originally from Russia, I moved to Manchester in 2022 to study music performance and production. After years of singing on TV, working with live bands and conducting orchestras, I found my passion in film scoring. To me, there is nothing more exciting than composing a classical piece of music and modernising it through electronic elements and production techniques.
My Work:
Studying production at university allowed me to understand recording and mixing techniques. Thus, I record and produce all my work. Ultimately, I like having complete control over the sound and I like that I get to choose if I want to place an instrument in a basement or a church hall.
My composing style has been called a mix of Disney, Studio Ghibli and Tchaikovsky. Modern scoring meets Romanticism if you will. Nothing like modulating a major melody to its relative minor in half-time.
